Chris Hart's bespoke motorcycle chassis are the culmination of 12 years developing and producing products for motor sport and custom projects.
Since 1996, many components have been produced using machinery designed and manufactured in-house, for example 10 ton rotary compression tube bending equipment, 8 ton tube ovaling rolls, various presses, wheeling machine, adjustable frame and swingarm jigs. Chris is currently in the process of designing Silverback Manufacturing's first 20 ton mandrel bender for producing high-quality bends in thin-wall and hard to bend tube and hollow sections.
Pictured to the right is a Silverback Manufacturing chassis kit being built for Ride magazine to suit a Kawasaki ZX 6R motor. Other frame kits are in development and more information can be found on the Bespoke Frames page.
Chris also specialises in fabricating lightweight components for race/track day bikes which are distributed worldwide. These are available through Silverback Manufacturing's online shop.
Products currently available include fairing brackets for Ducatti 916, Ducatti 748, Yamaha R6 Carb, Honda CBR 600 steel frame, Honda CBR600RR, Honda CBR1000, Suzuki GSXR K1, Suzuki GSXR K2, Suzuki GSXR K3, Suzuki GSXR K5, Triumph Daytona 675, Clipon Handlebars for various motorcycles, universal shark fins, as well as silencers and vintage trial components.
